Despues de muchos años de permanecer en silencio el sonido de un gigante se escucha a lo lejos y es que este anime tendra una nueva version la cual ya se encuentra en desarrollo pero no se sabe de fechas de presentacion ni de quienes harian las voces lo que si se sabe es el nombre del Director que es Yasuhiro Imagawa, aquel recordado por otros animados como Giant Robo OVA y Tetsujin 28. Como bien saben la historia se desarrolló presentando las aventuras de Koji Kabuto, un joven japonés que recibe la misión de manejar al robot Mazinger Z y que debe plantarle la cara al Doctor Hell y sus ambiciones de conquistar el mundo.
